I am running Leopard on a iMac purchased in Aug 2008 - 2GB Memory and 2.4 GHz Processor and am hoping to upgrade to Lion, however I see that you can only purchase it through MacApp store which requires SnowLeopard.

Will this mean I have to pay for both upgrades to get Lion?

Thanks

Matt

Given that the app store is for Snow Lion only, and apple has not communicated whether they'll eventually offer dvds. I think you will need to upgrade to SL before download 10.7

Personally, I'll not be buying it as I prefer to have physical media in case something happens to my HD and I need to reinstall.
