Running Sierra (10.12.6) on my 2014 MacBook Air. Obviously need to upgrade the software, but don't want to go to Catalina yet. On the phone with Apple, tried to go to Mojave, but it wouldn't let me go there, even with their help. Rep said in order to do that, I'd have to wipe my computer first, and I really don't want to do that.

So, any issues going from Sierra to High Sierra? Any tips?

It is absolutely not necessary to erase your computer to install Mojave.

What issue arose when trying to install Mojave?
Wish I could remember exactly - I think I remember it saying something was "broken". Tried it twice with the Apple rep, same thing.

Can't remember exactly - a link or something was "broken"...

It said something was "broken" I believe. Tried it twice with the rep...
