Upgrade from Snow Leopard to Lion using Time Capsule backup

I have a Macbook Pro that I have backed up to Time Capsule. I am planning on upgrading from SL to Lion. In reading some posts online, it looks like some users have had difficulty using Time Machine/Time Capsule after upgrading. I have a few questions:

1. During the installation process, will I be prompted to transfer my data, files, system settings from Time Capsule?

2. Will the Time Capsule work with Lion?

3. Are there any other things I should prepare for?
