i just bought an iMac mid 2010 21,5 i3 since my macbook pro (main pc) doesn't work anymore after i dropped some water on it (yes, I'm stupid
).
So, on this mac i will put an SSD Samsung Evo 840 and 8 GB of RAM (4gbx2) for a total of 12 gb (since the imac has 4 gb "stock"). I think that with these upgrades will be a great mac.
But i want also upgrade the processor to a faster Core i5 (I5-680) 3.6 GHz (that was available as custom configuration, so it will be supported by my mac).
My question is: there is someone that has done this before in this forum that can help me? Or someone that has enough experience in similar things that can help me?
