Hey guys,
well, I didn't do what most people would've recommended. I installed Yosemite over my Mavericks partition to keep my programs & configurations. But after the first reboot, my MacBook crashes while loading Yosemite. It doesn't even reboot, it just shuts down.
I'm using a MacBook Pro 15" mid-2012 with three partitions installed: Macintosh HD (my main partition), Bootcamp & a partition I created to test out the Yosemite Public Beta (this is the one that I have to use right now). I also installed the rEFIt tool, but this one's gone after the Yosemite upgrade.
I tried resetting the PRAM, but that didn't work. Also, I can't restore because my Macintosh HD partition is protected at the moment.
So what do I do?
