So how so you upgrad from an iPhone 4 to the new iPhone 4s, if your AT&T contract still has a year or so left? I get it that I would have to pay a fee to get out of the contract. But do you sell your old phone first and then buy the new phone? Or do you buy the new phone and then sell the old one. Do you get to keep your old phone number? And what about your iPhone's Apple account that was tied to the old phone, is it transferred over?

I can't upgrade until next year due to my AT&T contract and am wondering if it's worth the trouble to upgrade now and have wondered how others have done this. The last time I upgraded, I went from the iPhone 3G to the iPhone 4 and was allowed to cut my contract short without a fee by AT&T. I bought the new phone and had everything transferred to it, then gave away the old phone to a friend. But this time I'd like to sell my iPhone 4, while it still have some value so it can be applied to the new phone.
