I know this question has been asked before, but I have read all over the internet, and I am still confused.

Just to be clear, the steps to take if I want to upgrade to iOS 5.0.1 is to backup in iTunes, then restore my iPhone from backup, and go through the jailbreak process again? I have the latest redsnow installed on my PC already to go.
I accidentally deleted Cydia a while back, so I cannot back up my jailbreak apps with AptBackup etc. But, I can just download them again I guess...

I would like to use redsnow if I can because I am familiar with it, and already have it. Is this a good way to upgrade? Any suggestions will be appreciated:)
