iPod touch Upgrade Jailbroken Iphone/Ipod to ios 5.0.1

I jailbroke my ipod with redsn0w on ios 5.0, and i would really like to upgrade to ios 5.0.1 since i heard it fixes battery performance and bugs. I was just wondering if it was as easy as going into redsn0w and booting my ipod up with the new ios 5.0.1 firmware, will that work? And i won't lose and jailbroken tweaks or apps right? Please respond, several times i have created a thread where nobody has answered, all i need is a yes or no.

Update to 5.0.1 on iTunes, Break free with redsn0w. U will have to install your Cydia apps
