Hi,

My macbook has issues playing HD videos especially ones with over 30 FPS (frames per second). It usually lags a lot and leaves artifacts when if finally catches up. This happens with VLC. WIth quicktime (and I have all the codecs), it just plays jerky and unsmooth

I upgraded my RAM from 1 GB to 2.5 GB, but that hardly feels like any difference, just faster shutdown/startup. Is there any upgrade I can do hardware-wise?

BY THE WAY, my macbook specs are attached below.

or is this possibly a software issue? Do any of you know any better h.264 encoded HD players??
