Upgrade Macbook

I have an old original mid-2007 Macbook. I don't want to spend the money on buying a new Macbook. Would it be worth my time if I were to upgrade my old Macbook? And if I did, how would I go about doing that? Would I upgrade my RAM or something totally different?
