I received my MBP on Aug 3 and have only installed MS Office 2008, Adium, Coconut Battery and istat pro on it. I also copied my itunes library and a bunch of pics to iphoto. Is my "clutter" small enough where I'll probably be fine by doing the upgrade instead of the wipe/fresh install option? Also, will i preserve the apps I have with the upgrade? Especially ilife?

I had far more then that on my unimb and my upgrade to Snow Leopard was flawless. My 1.86 Ghz mini upgraded just fine to Snow as well but had one problem. On that machine frontrow became jittery and some of my movies that had played flawlessly now stuttered badly. I did a wipe and clean install and still had the same problem. I then tried to instal quicktime pro (7) and found that you can not do that on a clean install of Snow. So that machine is going back to Leopard.
