What is the best path to upgrade my iMac from Snow Leopard / XP Pro 32bit to Mountain Lion / Windows 8 Pro 64bit?
I almost made the mistake of buying Windows 8 Pro upgrade from Microsoft online through the Windows 8 Upgrade Assistant when I learned that I won't be able to install the 64bit version of Windows 8 if I go this route.
Before I purchase the retail box with both 32 and 64 bit DVDs, are there any other caveats I should be aware of?
Should I upgrade to Mountain Lion first before upgrading my XP Bootcamp partition to Windows 8 or is it better to upgrade to W8 and than upgrade to Mountain Lion?
I have 2011 iMac running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and Windows XP Pro 32bit SP3.
