i have been using a Toshiba satellite P20 for the past 6 years and now my dad owns the new unibody macbook pro with 2.53ghz and 4gb ram and i loved it. i do a lot of heavy work on my computer but the problem is my laptop is at its limit and might burn out real soon its been getting alot of hardware failures recently (i already backed everything up) i want to buy the new 17 inch with the 2.93ghz processor but its not available and it will be month before the country i m in can get it. and my old pc is dying to say the least so is it possible to buy a 2.66ghz equipped 17inch than upgrade it to 2.93ghz? i m really strapped for time and i cant wait months for the new shipment (i live in kuwait and the 2.66 is the only model they have available here and there are no official retailers for apple they just sell it) can i just upgrade the processor after i have bought the 17 inch macbook pro computer?
