I currently have a 13" mid 2017 MBP with 3.1 dual core i5 processor, 8 GB memory and 250 GB of storage. (I know the storage is low; I tend to use the cloud a lot, so I still have 76.5GB free.)
I'm looking at a refurbished 16" 2.3 MBP (the base model). Will this make a noticeable difference? I don't edit video, but I do teach online (now even more than before.) Some of that includes watching videoed speeches and grading them as I go, etc.
I'm also considering the i9 1TB model, but that's about $400 more. Would that be worth it in the long run? I've read differing accounts.
I appreciate any advice that someone more knowledgable than I can provide.
