Here is my question, i currently own a droid incredible and it is not due for an upgrade until next February. My friend just offered that i can use his upgrade but his line does not have a data line on it. Is it possible to use his upgrade for my account without a data plan being added to his line?

If verizon works like AT&T does then YES you can do this. What you would do is process the upgrade on your friends line (adding the data package temporarily)...once you activate the phone to YOUR number...have him reactivate his old phone which should allow him to remove the data package! For AT&T that is called a cross upgrade and i've done it numerous times using other family members upgrades when I haven't been eligible...but again i'm not sure if Verizon is set up that way! Call and ask if it can be done!
