I have a 21,5" of late 09
I want tu upgrade the original 4gb
I want to have a more fuid workflow (simple apps are ages to open an slow also i use chrome with sevral tabs an videos whitch makes it a pain)) on the other side i want better rendings and fuidness on premiere, photoshop and ae.
Is +4gb okay for total 8gb
Or beter get 8+gb for total 12gb

Is it true arrived a maximum it is usless?
(also in hdd my mac is only 250gb full of 500gb. I use a external 1tb hdd for heavy files)

Thanks

8gb is probably OK but try to upgrade as much as you can afford. My last 2011 iMac had 12gb and it worked great for just about everything.
