Upgrade RAM / Hard Drive = VOID Warranty ?

Someone in another thread mentioned that the warranty would be Void if we self-upgraded the memory or hard drive in the new 13.3" MBP.

True?

I asked that question while buying my 13" MBP in the Apple Store today and was told that those parts are user replaceable and will not void your warranty.
