Hi,

I want to upgrade the RAM on my 2012 MBP 13" from 8GB to 16 GB. I have the 2,9GHz i7 version, and I am trying to find the correct RAM modules.

Will two of these be 8GB corsar chips be good? (2 x 8GB).

"Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz 8GB CL10, 1x 8GB XMS3 modules, CL10-10-10-27, Core i7/i5/Core 2, 1.5V"

And is there any "bewares" from others with experience?

Thanks!

Find the same ram on newegg or amazon and read the reviews by other mac owners to see if it will work.

I have the exact same RAM and it works like a charm on my early 2011 13", so it'll be even better for you since my MBP throttles the RAM at 1333MHz I believe.
