I'm a Mainstage user, and whilst is not recommended to upgrade to a new OS if you have a gig, or if you are rehearsing consistently, which I do every week, I did upgrade last year right when we finished a gig, and the next day I put the Beta in, we were called for another gig with no preparation. But it was too late to downgrade, so I went in, and thankfully High Sierra performed admirably.
This year with all the hassle regarding 32bit apps, I was a little bit worried, but since we have no gig in the near future, and I thought that Mojave Beta 10 is already deep into the beta program, I shouldn't expect to see any major problem. I was right. This Beta has been very stable, and I see no issues whatsoever with either Mainstage or any of the virtual instruments that I use. And I haven't upgraded the instruments in a while, I'm still using older versions of Arturia's V Collection, Kontakt 5, NI FM8, OVI Digital Synthations, EZ Drummer, and many others.

Very happy. Dark Mode alone is more than enough reason.

i've been running the mojave betas since public beta 1, and all is well. am working in logic X. all my plugins work (32-bit apps are supported until next years OS), and business continues (albiet with a dark GUI)....

Brave move if you rely on it for using it live or production, cool that it worked!

DO you see the dark mode as an advantage for gigs and less light for the display? or you like the look?

I think the new "Voice Memo" feature on Mojave is cool for a quick recording - have used it to quickly record a guitar track before i forget the riff (LOL alzheimer's here) - then can use it for the tempo and as a base to expand from.

Well, really like dark mode overall. But Mainstage is already pretty black, so no gain there, but whenever I need to do something on the OS, less light is way better, since your eyes are already accustomed to a darker interface, and going to Finder was always screamingly bright. It's nice to have a similar brightness level around the whole interface.

As for the voice memo, we use a Soundcraft UI16 mixer which has built-in USB recording capabilities, so no real need to record directly on the computer, but I can think of a few occasions when it will surely be pretty handy.

Ah, I must have missed that. I thought it was going to be final on the 32-bit apps, then suddenly my 32bit apps kept working, and I was like: What? Why do they still work? good to know that they are giving the developers enough time to catch up.
