I am forward deployed to Iraq and am using (for various reasons) my LEGALLY PURCHASED (at too much money, i may add) copy of final cut pro which was just upgraded to 6.0.1 I think? Now the serial number doesn't work. Before you all go crazy, I did have to completely wipe my harddrive in an effort to install boot camp and windows, and had to re-install final cut studio with a serial number I got online as I didn't bring the box with me (we typically are not encouraged to bring too much stuff like empty boxes...). Anyway, is the 'old' number not working because I got it online, or is there some other problem? I'd call Apple but being a cheap bastard I didn't buy the care plan.... Anyway, just wondering if I have just f**ked over my unit by installing windows, please help if you can...
