Upgrade shipping?

Hey guys,

I wanted to buy an MBP at the apple store, but I need to order it online since they don't have the bigger hard drives at the stores .

I'm a very impatient person when it comes to ordering online, so I was thinking about upgrading to the 2-3 day shipping. My question is, does anyone actually know if they really expedite shipping, or is it one of those ploys to just squeeze another $18.00 outta me.

not worth it IMO. sometimes it comes faster, sometimes it's the same as free shipping

Usually Apple ships quicker than the estimated dates they say. For example, I got my iPhone three days before they said it would come. So I would just go for the cheaper shipping.

I hope to god this is true. Because the expected shipping date for my Macbook is a day after I leave for the rest of the summer.
