All, thanks for viewing.

I have a mid 2009 Macbook Pro (model 5,3) w 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 RAM and a 500G HD. I'm looking to upgrade the HD and the RAM. What are the max specs I can upgrade to? I'm looking for the most space possible for my HD, I've seen some 1.5 TB drives that are really attractive, but I was under the understanding that I could only fit a 1TB. When I plug in my specs on eshop.macsales.com, it allows me to select a 1.5 TB HD and up to 8GRAM. I understand that the max I can upgrade the RAM to is 8Gig. Is this true? How do I know what the best RAM or HD to buy are?

Thanks!

Kurt
