upgrade to 1.1.4 AFTER jailbroken at 1.0.2

Is there a way to upgrade the firmware to 1.1.4 AFTER my iPhone was jailbroken at the first 1.0.2 firmware without wiping out the phone?

I want to upgrade but I don't want have to unlock the iPhone over again if that's what it's going to take.

I searched on these forums and can't seem to find an answer to this particular situation.
