upgrade to 4.0.2 from Jailbroken 4.0.1?

If I upgrade will it mess up my Jailbroken 4.0.1 phone or brick it? It working great now so I'm temped to just leave it alone...

Yeah leave it alone... delete Itunes off your PC, keep your jailbreak until you can afford an android on a good carrier.

I'm curious as well, but I'm running jailbreak over 4.0. If I update to 4.0.2 will it brick my phone - or do I have to do a complete restore?

if you update to 4.0.2 you will lose your jailbrake and would need to downgrade to 4.0.1 an rejailbreak.... this update only fixes the exploit by jailbreakme.com.... that is it nothing special. There is a fix in cydia for the exploit just install PDF Loading Warner and you will be on par with 4.0.2 and no need to lose your jailbreak

Of course not! You will just lose your jailbreak. Don't do it. It only address the security exploit. There are other security measures that you can take through Cydia.

I believe that Redsn0w works after 4.0.2 update.

If you don't want to risk it don't do it.

PDF Loading Warner was just that, a warning. Not a fix. So nowhere near on par with 4.0.2.
