Hello all,

I would like to upgrade to 8.4, but don't want to use Apple Music until the service stabilizes. Am I able to still use Music (and my current iTunes Match subscription) without subscribing to Apple Music? Will it keep bugging/reminding me to sign-up? And if/when I do want to sign-up, will I still get the 3-month trial?

Thanks!

Yep - that's what I'm doing for now. I'm waiting to try Apple Music until a bit later on because I'll be doing some traveling and can really put in a lot of hours with it.

You can opt to click on your library instead of the 3 month trial. From there you have access to the radio without the Apple Music.

When you first open music after upgrade it asks if you want to subscribe to Apple Music or go to your music collection - I just went to my collection - so I avoided signing up -
So you can upgrade and not do music

There is no such option on my Iphone 6 on 8.4 when I go to settings, Music.
Not sure if you found it yet but going into settings, then Music... at the top there should be an area that says { Show Music}. Turn it from green to dark and it is now off.
