"Upgrade to Catalina from High Sierra" Any one ? Is feasible or advisable? I am thinking of skipping Mojave.

Unless you are running 32-bit applications that can neither be updated nor replaced then go for it.

I have an application that will require Mojave next year. By next year Catalina will be updated to (10.15.6) and new OS will be introduced. Mojave will be outdated by then.

Mojave, still going strong. first time since tiger I didn't update.
tried it, it screwed up my keychain completely, had to manually copy and input 600 passwords.
I don't even know what is in Catalina that I don't have in Mojave. couldn't see one new useful feature

If you are unsure about upgrading to Catalina, create a new partition on your internal drive and clean install Catalina to it. This way you can test drive Catalina on your machine.

Would upgrading to Catalina have the same problems associated with upgrading to Mojave?

I upgraded from High Sierra to Mojave and I had no problems associated with doing that. Everyone’s use case is different. What problems are you referring to?

I am referring to the problems of software update not working properly with HFS+ and Mojave.

Couldn't see any benefit to Catalina, but tried it anyway. Couldn't live with the loss of 32 bit apps. Bit of a pain to go back to Mojave. I'll use Catalina when I buy a new Mac and cannot downgrade.
