upgrade to intel

i have a powerbook g4.
i tried to install iLife 09 and it is not compatible with my proccesor. it needs to be wth intel chip.

can i do something about that?

Buy a new laptop. There is no way to upgrade any PPC based Mac, including any PowerBook, to an Intel CPU.

* Mac computer with an Intel, PowerPC G5, or PowerPC G4 (867MHz or faster) processor
* iMovie requires an Intel-based Mac, Power Mac G5 (dual 2.0GHz or faster), or iMac G5 (1.9GHz or faster).
* GarageBand Learn to Play requires an Intel-based Mac with a dual-core processor or better.
* 512MB of RAM; 1GB recommended. High-definition video requires at least 1GB of RAM.
* Approximately 4GB of available disk space
* DVD drive required for installation
* Mac OS X v10.5.6 or later

So...

- If you don't have Leopard, you would have to buy it.
- If you are trying to install iLife 09 off someone else's system install / restore discs (that probably don't have a PPC binary for it on them), then you have to go and actually buy iLife 09.
- If you don't meet the other requirements for iLife, you have to get a better computer.
