I didn't do my homework well enough on JB'ing the iPad 2. I thought the latest iPad software (just not iOS 5) was JB'able.

So...with thinking that....I figured I'd buy the iPad 2 with whatever 4.3.x software before they started having iOS 5 shipped on them. Got it yesterday. It has 4.3.5 on it, and it's a 3G model. Not JB'able, I understand, and won't ever be able to get the SHSH blobs saved.

So....is there any reason not to just put iOS 5 on it....seeing that it will be awhile before the next JB (if at all) for iOS 5 and the 3G units?

Thanks in advance for any and all replies!

nope update it.

Noone os working on a 4.3.5 jailbreak, it would be wasted effort with 5.0 released.

Thanks for the reply!

This is what I expected. Just wanted some extra confirmation. I actually updated it to 5.0 earlier this morning based on more reading/research.

It's not bad...just not a fan of stock icons.

One of the main reasons my iP4 is now at 4.2.1 (and has stayed there for quite some time).

Cheers.
