Upgrade to iOS with 6.15 unlocked iPhone 3GS

I'm running an iPhone on iOS 4.1 with baseband 6.15. Can I upgrade to iOS 5 and still unlock my iPhone?

Yes you can, you can use redsn0w which can be found here with instructions:
http://blog.iphone-dev.org/redsn0w-iOS5

or you can use sn0wbreeze, both will get you to a Jailbroken iOS5 state and then you can install the latest ultrasn0w to unlock, you will be using a tethered jailbreak though
