I imagine Leopard is optimized for the Dual core Intel Macs, so is there a benefit to upgrading a PowerBook G4 laptop? Is it worth it? Just asking, as I don't imagine that I'll be upgrading my PB G4 for a couple of years...
 
I would imagine Leopard will run very well on your machine...I'll be upgrading my G4 portables ASAP. At the very least, you'll be able to take advantage of most of the new features.

I doubt it. Currently the only thing OS X has on the Intel side that's lacking on the PPC side is multi-threaded OpenGL, and that's not really 100% functional yet. More of a beta thing. If you want the features of Leopard, then go for it.
