Presently I have and IMac my operating system is Snow Leopara 6.10 and I am going to set a Windows Boot Camp with Windows7 and will run it using Parallel 7

Should I upgrade my OS to Lion?

Thanks

Juan Perez

You are fine with the latest version of Snow Leopard.

What kind of Mac do you have?

that narrows it down.

I think the chap meant which model iMac do you have.
You can determine your iMac's internal model number by going to System Profiler in your Utilities folder. It'll be of the form iMacX.Y, where X and Y are digits. For example, the newest iMacs are iMac12.1 and 12.2 internally.

Parallels 7 is lion compatible ... depends if you still want to stay away from the newest OS or not.

The vast majority of people with recent hardware are not having many problems with 10.7 ... so make sure you have a good backup strategy in place.
