okay, so i have a 4, 1 macbook on snow leopard that i wish to upgrade to lion, problem is... lion isnt available in the app store anymore and i cant upgrade to mountain lion.. so how can i do this?

Now its only possible if you are having USB for Lion, or if you have created DVD of Lion from apple store..
Otherwise the last option is Mountain Lion.
Gud Luck!!

Apple will still sell you the installation media, just phone them...They will probably supply Lion on a USB stick...The way they sold it when it was released..They realise that not all older Macs will run ML well. Probably cost you around $50
