Hey guys, bought a base 2016 15" model, but may need more space. I need to use bootcamp for windows program. Was considering buying a Samsung t3 to run bootcamp off that but the read/write speeds are around 450 mbps. But the ssd inside the MBP is about 2-3 times faster. Is there going to be noticeable lag by going the Samsung t3 route? I don't care if transferring certain files are a couple seconds faster but if theres noticeable performance lag using programs is what I'm worried about most.

No there wouldn't be a noticeable performance lag unless you'r importing library or footages. Once the application is loaded, it is saved to the RAM and the computer runs from it, so yes you would probably have longer "app loading" times but the performance should be very similar.
