Hi,

Probably too early to know I don't think there has been OS upgrade since all the internet install method, but I'll ask the question.

If I get Macbook Pro with Lion and then get the upgrade to Mountain Lion, will the recovery and total fresh install via internet be Mountain Lion or would it be Lion then manual upgrade to ML if I ever did a complete clean install?

I can hold off a month or two for purchase for Mountain Lion pre-install but if it gets some fancy recovery/clean install option to Mountain Lion after upgrade I may as well order today.

Anyone know, or have I explained it poorly?

When you install Mountain Lion it will update your recovery partition to 10.8.
If you buy it on the app store, or get it free via the app store, The app store will remember that your macbook has bought it and allow you to install it with the internet recovery on it.
