upgrade to windows 7 error?

HI, i am running windows vista ultimate 64 on a mac pro 1 via boot camp,
on a separate disk, today i bought the 7 ultimate upgrade, and when
i want to upgrade i get Windows could not retrieve information about the disks on this computer.
The upgrade advisor found no problem...
What can i do!!!
