Upgrade Tray-Load iMac

Hi Guys,

I just wanted to find out if anyone here has or knows how hard it is to swap the original cd drive in one of these macs with another tray-load drive.

Will they take any standard IDE drive?

it is not too hard to do.. you basically unscrew some screws and pull the logic board out... ive done it a few times myself, and it wasnt extreamly hard

You cant use any old IDE drive, you need an apple drive, becuase the drive is not stardadrd size, its slim.
