I have a 13 pro Max on the Upgrade program. I'm am going through the process now, like most years, and when I get to "Confirm your carrier" I get an error message that says "Verizon - there is an issue with your account, You can't get ready for a new iPhone using this number. Please come back at pre-order and select a different payment type"

Anybody else have this issue? is it an apple issue or a Verizon issue?

I had this same issue. Hopefully it fixes itself. If memory serves correct, it’s happened in previous releases.

I think this might have to do with the server? Have you tried it again? I got this issue on the apple store app. But when I do it on the safari browser, mine went just fine and got pre-approved.

Weird. Tried through Safari. Got a different error, but an error nonetheless. Went back into Apple Store app on my phone to try again and it worked.

Happy pre-orders everybody!

Could be a server issue. I'd definitely check back later tonight or tomorrow. Worst case scenario T-Mobile comes unlocked so you can eSim your VZ number.
