In the UK, currently have a P30 Pro and its upgrade time, and been offered 12 Pro on a decent deal, now I know the 13 is due out tail end of this year, and we can expect the usual CPU/RAM/Camera bump but for general web browsing, taking photos when on holiday or out with the dog, am I likely to get a better experience with the 13?

I will miss USB-C and will have to get new cables and finger print reader but that's the only two things I would be missing and not a deal breaker. Also I don't have a 120hz screen so that not really a factor either

Also I want something shiny and new lol

I am leaning to sod it and get it, as there is no date yet from Apple when they might get announced, I know people keep saying September but who knows.

So get the shiny new toy or wait 3 or 4 months for the usual spec bump?

The difference between the 12 and 13 isn't going to be major.
It'll get 120hz scrolling, the next gen 5G modem, camera tweaks and next CPU bump.
From what you've said how you use the phone, you can't go wrong with the 12. Also the 12 will have a mature version of iOS 14 on it, where the iPhone 13 will come will a beta version of iOS 15 that will suffer from bugs from being rushed out before its really done.

Well I can't get 5G where I am so not too worried about that, think will go with the 12, just need to decide between Pro and Pro Max
