Last night I upgraded my series 2 to watchOS 5. First the iPhone 6S Plus to iOS12 and then the watch. iPhone failed several times before upgrade worked but seems stable and good. I was a bit concerned if it would slow down the watch but I was relieved. It works great and it definitely feels faster to me so the use ability increased in my book. Haven’t tried all features yet but I feel the speed is back to when it was new on OS3. Maybe even a tad bit faster. To me best watchOS so far and happy I too my it as soon as it was released.
Haven’t noticed any change in battery life which I was already ok with since it lasts more than a day for me, closer to 1.5 days. I hope the next watch I buy will last a full 2 days between charges.
