Upgraded SSD, now MBP runs hot & battery dies quickly. Please Help

Hi,

Last week I upgraded the SSD in my late 2013 MBP. I went with the MacSales upgrade kit (480GB).

The install was straight forward, but my MBP is running a little warmer. Within 5 minutes the fan kicks on. In addition, the battery seems to drain A LOT quicker. All I'm doing is surfing the net.

Is this normal, or abnormal? Is there a fix? Any insight is greatly appreciated...
