iCloud Upgraded to iCloud+ but family members cannot access shared data or shared subscriptions (Music)

Upgraded to iCloud+ 50GB. Plenty of space for the family for what we need. I am only using 10GB for the iPhone backup. Partner's phone does not backup - says there is no space and showing only 5GB available. Partner's phone only has to backup 6-7GB or so. Her iCloud account is added to iCloud Family.

How do I "redirect" the backup to use the shared family iCloud?

Also she has an Apple Music subscription - with iCloud+ we are meant to share the subscriptions now right? I cannot access the Music subscription

Any ideas appreciated, thanks

You'll only be able to share an Apple Music subscription if your partner has the family plan, not the individual plan. And you would have been able to do that (with the family plan) even without having iCloud+.
