Wednesday I upgraded from the 4 to the 5, black 32GB. I am having some issues.

First, I backed up my 4 before I restored the 5 from the backup. However the 5 used a backup from April, so all the texts and pictures between April and November are not there. How can I fix this?

Also the battery on this phone is terrible, about 10% an hour with light use. My 2 year old 4 has better battery life. It would go all day and be about 50%. If I can't fix this I am not sure I am going to keep the phone. I can't be charging the phone all day and it is pointless to have a phone but not use it because I am worried about the battery making it through the day.

Other than that I love the phone, I can't believe how much faster it is than my 4. I am also surprised how much thinner it feels.

Restore and use the correct backup.

The battery will need to be calibrated so run it right down then fully re charge.
