I went to Apple Store. Real simple they signed me out of iCloud and find my computer etc. Then erased the HD. I had to put in name and password several times. After it was all erased and everything they gave me no gift card physical or otherwise. I had an old M1 256SSD / 8GB RAM mini from January 29th 2021 which was my birthday. So it was almost 4 years old. Instead of a card they just Applied the 230 dollars the old mini was worth directly to the order. And my nephew is in collage until December 12th early graduation. They did not even ask any info or verify anything. He just flashed a student ID and another 100 dollars came off. No name or email or any other offer just the student ID flashed for 2 seconds. So 330 total off. So I paid only 295 dollars and 90 cents for 256gb SSD and 16GB RAM. Not bad. Would have been 600 + tax so maybe 660. So 364 savings not bad.

M1, M2, M4 (and all Intel minis back to….dunno, 2010 at least) use the same power cord. It’s an “IEC C7”
