Upgraded to Snow Leopard - no downloads folder

Hi there, I've just upgraded to snow leopard form Tiger, and the downloads folder is not in the dock. Anyway ideas how I can put it in there?

I had this but worked out how to do it:

1.Go to Internal HD (or Macintosh HD I think its called)
2.Then go to Users
3.Your user name
4.You will then see the Downloads folder
5.You can drag it down to the dock

Is it still in Finder? If it is, just drag it to Dock or if it isn't (so it doesn't even exist) create it

No private folder

Hi I have a similar problem. I upgraded my imac (late2006) from tiger to snow lepoard and now I dont have or cant find my private folder anywere. Need urgent help with this. Cheers

Did you do a backup before the upgrade?

Did you do a Clean Install?
