I've just upgraded to Snow Leopard and I get the error "The iPhone cannot by synced. A file was specified instead of a folder."

Anybody any ideas?? I've searched the web for this error and interestingly there are a few posts in the last few weeks which have either been deleted or not responded to.

If no one can help me here any recommendations for how to go about asking apple.

Thanks

I have the same problem. Does anyone has a solution?

Edit: Never mind. I restarted iTunes and it syncs again. I suspect this error appears occasionally if you synced photos to your iPhone from a folder, then delete this folder, empty trash, and try to sync again without change the photo sync settings.
