hi all

Just need quick confirmation that my current upgrade plan for a new SSD and more Ram is within what my MBP can handle.

I have my eyes set on this drive from Samsung, even though I might not get the full potential out of it.

Samsung 830 Series MZ-7PC256B 256 GB

Basically, I just need to know if it will work at all. :)

If there are better drives I should know about I would be happy to be told.

Thanks!

An S-ATA 6.0 Gbps (S-ATA III) SSD will work with an S-ATA 3.0 Gbps (S-ATA II) interface, I do the same with my 2009 MBP and a Vertex 3 SSD.
I also have 8 GB of third party RAM.
