Can I upgrade my G5 dual 2.0 with intel chips? I am really feeling hurt, that I bought a MAC and then Apple "upgrades" there Mac with intel chips. And what hurts eben more is the games now coming out are only for Intel Mac's only. I am not a hard core gamer... but I would still like to play a couple of the new games coming out.... I am hurt :(

I seriously doubt it. Just sell it on eBay or here. If you take good care of your stuff then the resale value must be good. And spend a little money and get a new one.

Note that you are not allowed to sell items here at MacRumors until you've made a minimum of 100 posts. But you are welcome to ask for opinions on how much it might sell for now.

You're hurt that a company keeps up with technology and upgrades their products? You must know when you buy a computer something new will always being coming out. Unless you are referring to your MAC address...Mac please. How old is it? Try craigslist or something. Or even just regular newspaper ads.

No, you can't upgrade the CPU, best just to sell it on a place like eBay and buy yourself a nice new intel machine if you are that concerned about having the latest and greatest.
