Upgrading 1.1.3 to 2.0 Clarification

Alright, so, I'm anxious to get 2.0 up and running, but very nervous to do something stupid.

I currently have a 1.1.3 (4A93) iphone in Canada which is (obviously) jailbroken and unlocked. Unfortunately, I wasn't the one to originally unlock it, my friend did it for me, so I'm not very familiar with the process.

Barring the jam going on with the 2.0 firmware downloading, how do I go about safely updating? If I simply update through iTunes, will this brick my phone or simply relock and rejail it? If it's just relocked and rejailed, do I use pwnage to jailbreak and then unlock?

I believe it will relock and rejail it.
A version of pwnage that jailbreaks 2.0 is not yet available but is said to be in the works (I believe).
