Hello. I have an i5 2.5ghz iMac that I want to upgrade to a MacBook (pro?). I don't do a lot of heavy lifting with applications, but I don't want to reduce my speed with a MacBook. It seems that I would need to go with a MacBook Pro.
I have a few year old Cinema display that I want to connect the MacBook to. I wouldn't need to travel with it too often, but I like having that option if needed.
Do you think a MacBook would be sufficient with the slower processor or would I need to go with the Pro? Also, how would I connect to the MacBook if there's only one USB port?
