I'm just syncing/backing up my iPhone 3G in preparation for the iPhone 4, so I can switch nice and quickly
Does anyone know if I have to upgrade my 3G to iOS4 first? Given the number of features that don't work on it, and given I'm only going to have this phone for another 24-48 hours, and given the amount of time it will take, it seems unnecessary.
However, I don't want to tell my iPhone 4 to restore from the backup, and have it tell me it doesn't want to because it's from an old OS (or even worse, attempt to put iPhone OS 3 on it!)
